Welcome to my page, where you can learn more about my research and teaching.

I am an Assistant Professor in Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Birmingham. I work in the area of higher education and research policy. My research explores the cultural, institutional and political effects of measurement and evaluation. I am currently leading a project exploring the emergence of ‘research culture’ as a governable object.
